plzz help

hey, i jus wnted to knw wat r d chances ov mne gettng caught wid hiv...i hd sex on "1st march "wid a prostitute n d condom ruptured while we were hvng sex......aftr 2-3 dys i ws caught in fever n had sore throat, dere ws pain in d armpit n d skin ws dry n itchy n i ws feelng lethargic so i gt myself tested fr hiv exactly 1mnth aftr hvng sex dat z on "1st april" n d results cme ot to b non- reactive fr bth hiv-1 n hiv-2.......m rly cncrnd plzz hlp me.....?????

hey, i gt myslf testd agn n its been 3 mnths frm d dy i hd unprotected sex  n result fr d antibody test fr both HIV 1 & HIV 2 cme ot to b "non-reactive"....can i completly depend on dis report of mne or i further need to gt myslf tested again?????

I suggest you take a test at 3 months and then you can put this behind you.Symptoms won't really tell you anything about your status,only a conclusive test result can do that,so far so good with your negative result.

You had condom failure therefore a test at 3 months will provide you with a conclusive result.All the best.
