HIV from Food

The other day I had been to a restaurant and I noticed this strange looking guy staring at me all the time.
He asked the waitress for some chicken wings but he left without eating a bit of it
The waitress came over to me and asked me if I'd like to have some chicken wings as it was the days special and a customer who had ordered chicken wings just left without eating it and she assured me it was clean as he didn't even touch it
Now I am worried what if this guy injected the wings with HIV blood and I ate it about 5 mins later? I didn't really notice but I think the food sat on his table for a while before he left! I feel so stupid for accepting a dish left behind by a random guy but I just wanted to help the waitress out as she said that the boss would scold her for letting a customer get away without paying
Should I go for PEP? When can I get tested?

As you have been advised, you cannot get HIV from eating or drinking, even IF someone put contaminated blood in the food or drink.

I really wish it was that easy for me to believe it didn't happen
It's a bad world and people are out to hurt others for no reason
However, what I want to know is that would HIV be viable inside meat where it had no access to air and still be able to infect when ingested about 5 minutes later?

Dear experts, is my concern so irrational and irrelevant that it doesn't deserve an answer? This guy was seated in such a way that I couldn't see what he could have done with the food but he did reach out for something in his bag. I am thinking it was a syringe to inject the food with HIV

Please don't write me off as paranoid

Why would someone walk into a restaurant, sit there for a while and leave without eating anything?

He might have put something in the food, but you can't catch HIV from eating, drinking etc,

Otherwise there would be a lot of sick people who ate or drank from an unsterilized plate or utensil that had been given to them by people who had HiV and had no idea they had it.

Since you didn't get sick, he likely didn't put anything in it.
Also remember that he didn't choose his looks, so what looks strange to you may just be his natural appearance. He is likely a harmless individual, since most of   us are.

There are a million reasons why someone might not eat their food, so try not to worry about why he didn't eat.
I know HIV dies upon exposure to air. In this case, what if he injected hiv blood right into the meat, leaving no place for air to render the virus inactive? I ate it about 5 mins later and I suffer from bleeding gums and sore throat. I know I shouldn't be going by the way he looked at me but it was just unusual.
Since you can't get HIV from drinking or eating it, I am not sure what your point is.

Suppose your worst case unsupported idea is true and he injected it in meat, You can't get it. Also why would he inject it knowing that the person who ate couldn't get it?

You are focusing on things that can't happen, which is wasting your precious time. Life is short, so enjoy it while you have good health.
