query

i was going through some HIV forum i found following regarding condom faliure

"The CDC states that the majority of condom breaks do not result in infection"-thebody

"I've yet to see the insertive partner test positive following a condom break and I don't expect you to be the first, PEP or no PEP."

Teak do you support these statements??

P.S. i didnt had any exposure. i am a public health student and preparing for a paper on HIV transmission pattern. I hope to use some of your knowledge

sorry to bother you once again, do you have any data regarding the transmission following broken condom, or have you heard of any such cases?? i'd be indebted if you could share any such cases wid me. sorry for being nosy

Teak is not on this website anymore. As for comments by others this site stands behind comments made by Dr.Hook and Dr.HHH who used to be on this site.
