8th week negative test conclusive?
8th week after exposure , my 4th gen duo test came negative ( ELISA AND CMIA) now I'm awaiting RNA PCR report. I m realived of course after negative results but still having fear about the awaiting pcr report..

Your Duo test is conclusive, you did not need any other test.

Thanks diver, it has given me lot of relief after receiving the reports. But now i am having some fever..yesterday evening and today afternoon..though its not severe but i dont have any running nose or as such cold..
As you were advised, your test is conclusive, so whatever symptoms you are having are not related to HIV. There isn't anything more for our members to say about this event since you are HIV-negative.
