For there to be a risk the wound would have to be fresh and deep and result from a contaminated instrument. If your wound didn't occur in a healthcare setting then you have no worries.
is the wound i described still considered superficial? it scabbed up and would be considered superficial if it was half a cm long and wide with the same depth
The information you read about superficial wounds being no risk for hiv infection is correct.They don,t provide a point of entry into the blood stream.
