Good & Cheap??

I'm looking for good, cheap recipes for everyday!  Anything helps!

heres a few recipes that are inexpensive



sausage-potato bake
serves 2
1 8oz pkg sausage (8-10)
2 tbsp flour
1 cup milk
2 med potatoes

cook sausages in skillet until brown remove and drain on paper towels, reserve drippings
add flour to drippings and blend
add milk and cook until smooth , being sure to scrape the crusty pieces into the gravy
arrange sausages in bottom of greased  baking dish  slice potatoes and arrange over sausages, then pour gravy all over. bake at 350f fr one hour or until potatoes are cooked.




care free chicken for 2
2 chicken breast
1  10 1/2 can cream of celery soup
1 1/3 cups minute rice
2tbsp dry onion soup

place chicken breasts in casserole
add 1/2 can of water to celery soup
mix rice celery  soup, and dry onion soup then pour over chicken
bake covered for 20 min at 350f then uncvered for 30 min or until brown on top

chicken mushroom bake
2 chicken breasts cut in half to make 4 pieces
1 10 1/2 oz can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup white wine
arrange chicken cut down in buttered baking dish
combine soup and wine and pour over chicken
bake uncovered for 45 in to an hour at 350f until fork tender

  shepherds pie
1 pkg mixed veg (carrots onion corn green beans peas baby lima beans)
2 cups leftover lamb    i use  beef  lot cheaper and just as good
2 10 1/2 oz cans mushroom gravy
2 cups mashed potatoes
cook veg according to pkg
chop lamb or beef cut into small pieces
combine lamb or beef veg and gravy and pour into buttered casserole.
top with mashed potatoes. roughen the top with a fork
bake at 400f for 30-40min until peaks of potato are brown

upside down peach cobbler
1 9 oz box white cake mix
1 21 oz can peach fruit filling   or whatever your fav fruit is
optional ice cream or cream
grease 12 inch square cake pan  pour in peach filling
make cake batter according to pkg   if you dont have oil use juice  works just as well:)
pour batter over fruit bake until toothpick comes ut clean   it may be longer due to moisture in fruit filling. serve warm plain or with cream or ice cream

Two bags split peas
one  pound bacon cut in pieces

In large dutch over, dump both bags of peas, the bacon, turn on lowest setting on back of stove.  Let cook all day.  Make a batch of corn muffins and enjoy.
