Fluctuating and high BP.

I am 46 yrs male. On medication for high lipid profile. But currently all within limits. I have cardiophobio and always feel anxiety about myhealth and feel that I shall have a heart attack. I had my BP checked last month by my doctor in India. it was 130/80 taken over 1 week ( taken twice in a week). I am in Singapore now and had to go to a doctor for hand cut ( accident) doctor checked my BP it was 110/70... after 2 weeks I checked at home today it came out as 130/90.. I am very worried that my BP has gone up. What should I do? I am scared to check my BP again and it seems my BP is rising with the thought of checking my BP.. I start panicing what shall I do if the reading comes high?

Please help.. can I do normal work if my BP is high.. at what level I should rush to hospital...

Thanks and regards,

An individual's blood pressure is not a static phenomonon, but varies from minute to minute and day to day. Sometimes there may not be a very good reading from home BP units. Some individuals take their home BP unit with them to a doctor's office to compare.

BP pressure should be averaged for a more accurate assessment, and your BP does not rise to a level of be cause much concern.

Hope this helps, and if you have any further questions or comments you are welcome to respond.  Thanks for sharing, take care,

Ken
