Angina Getting Worse

Hey there friends.  Well, as some of you know, after my heart attacks I have had a bothersome time with angina.  Just a moment ago, I was setting here at work playing a hand of cards on the computer.  Now mind you, I am on a break here at work. Not stressed. Nothing physical with playing cards on the computer.  I started getting very short of breath and then the chest pains started.  I took my nitro and the symptoms started to ease a bit.  Still have the weird pins and meedles in my back between the shoulder blades and a slight stabbing pain, but otherwise better.  I am so tired of going to the dr and the ER and being told it is angina or ischemia.  Nothing to do much but meds.  Is there something that should signal me that it's time to go again?  Is this really what dealing with angina and/or ischemia is suppose to be?  When should I worry more?

Thanks, and take care Ally †

Angina indicates the heart muscle is not receiving sufficient oxygenated blood, and lack thereof can damage heart muscle.  If you can't tolerate medication or medication doesn't help relieve angina, then the usual procedure is a stent implant so as not to damage heart cells.

You don't want to wait for symptoms of heart failure that would be the result of untreated occluded vessels.
