I think you need a more recent one
3 years ago. i had a stress test.
The echo does look fine but it does seem to show a blood flow restriction which is likely in the left anterior descending (LAD). How bad the blockage is, well that would require an angiogram. I assume you had a stress test?
tnx for your time. no, I did not have a bypass surgery. I did not also have heart attack. But my doctor said that if I will not take any medication I might end up having one because he told me i'm in between normal and bypass operation.
Just to add something. The 'mild' stiffness is with the heart relaxed but when your heart is working harder it could be worse. Personally I think you should establish what the cardiologist feels is the cause of this.
Did you have a heart attack in the past? Or did you say you had bypass surgery? Either could explain the hypokinesis of the areas of the heart suggested, or it could be a blockage forming. Basically there is a section of heart muscle which is 'stiff'. This wouldn't reflect necessarily in the :LVEF of 70% which is very good by the way, but it can be an indicator for the reasons of your symptoms. If you've had previous heart attack or bypass surgery, it could explain the stiffness.
Words like normal and mild, coupled with a high ejection fraction like you have indicate a basically normal heart. I'm not a health professional, but I've had at least a dozen Echo tests of the heart, and it sure sounds like you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Your first doctor might have meant you have a little blood leaking, but almost everybody does.
