First of all, vegetarians still eat certain meats such as fish. Although fish have some omega oils, it's still meat and has fat. I would go full Vegan but keep an eye on your mineral and vitamin levels with blood tests. This way you can learn what is missing from the diet and compensate. Bypass surgery lasts different lengths of time with different people. I can say that if it is just the LAD, then they can likely use the LIMA artery as a bypass which is inside the chest. We have 2 arteries both sides and so one is basically spare. If they use the Lima (left internal mammary artery) then it should last the rest of your natural life. They usually graft the Lima to the lower end of the LAD.
Also whats the age of patient after BYPASS?
Thanks ED.
Please help me with the diet plan.
Just to add-on he is a pure veggy since last one year.
Do we have any techniques in homeopathy?
with a 99% blockage in the LM I wouldn't wait a month. Diet is something which I am still looking into but from what I can tell, fruit and veg are best.
Angiography reports says that he have- 99% calcified blockage after LM but just before LAD and DIAG,60-70% before CX and OM,80% in artery next to PD.
He is not mentally prepare for bypass I think we will need one more month.
Meanwhile could you please suggest me the precautions and the diet he need to follow.
The LAD is a very tight narrowing and plaque, so bypass is the preferred option. Stenting is not very good in such circumstances because the artery wall is pretty damaged along the endothelium and crushing to much plaque will cause the even more damage. Damage means scar tissue formation and this will block the stent as it grows. With bypass they can leave the plaque where it is, and run a fresh supply further down the vessel. They SHOULD check the mammary arteries in the chest to see if any are clear enough to be used as a bypass graft. These are far superior in strength to veins and last many years. My vein grafts lasted a whole 3 months. If you need any more information don't hesitate to ask, a few of us have been through this procedure.
Do you know which vessels the blockages are in?
