Coronary Artery Disease question

If you had heart disease would you have the feeling of fullness or pressure ALL the time??? or could you have it when you exercise sometimes, and not have it when you exercise at other times? would you have it at rest sometimes and then Not have it at rest other times?

in other words can the symptoms come and go whether youre up and about or while your at rest?? or would you constantly have the pressure and fullness in your chest?

can you have a pulse rate of 60 at rest and a normal blood pressure and still have artery disease?

Ed is correct but you do not have to have Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) to have those symptoms. It may be any of the large, small or micro vessels in your heart that can spasm and that spasm may be related to a microvessel dysfunction. That would be a difficult diagnosis in addition to the spasm identification. That being said, if you continue with those signs please seek help. After and before testing for CAD, speak to your doctor about cardiac microvascular dysfunction.Read my journal here at 'joanincarolina'.You describe what I went through. Joan.

1. Usually if you exert yourself, then it disappears at rest. If it occurs at rest then you need to be seen as an emergency. If it appears at rest but vanishes after a short time, then it could be unstable angina which means the arteries have spasms. Depending how bad your disease is, is usually how much exertion you have to do in order to bring on angina.
2. Yes you can. Coronary artery disease is nothing to do with resting heart rate but high blood pressure can make it feel worse. Many people with normal or even low blood pressure have CAD.
