My mother in law has hypertension and is 72 years old. Last week her blood pressure touched a 200/140. The high BP has affected her kidneys and liver. Her reports say she has a faulty liver with abnormally low levels of Albumin and her kidneys have descended. She is not able to urinate more than a spoonful per day though she drinks plenty of water. She has the immense urge to urinate but ends up passing no more than a few drops each time and her legs have swollen painfully. Could this be dangerous? She also has severe hip pains, head aches, loss of appetite and mood swings. How bad is this for a woman her age?
