Gaining weight

It's been 5 weeks since catheratization, angioplasty, 1 stent put in.  Been told I'll have heart disease for ever.  Have you heard cures for weight gain after the procedure?  I'm taking Plavix, Vytorin, Claritin, Saw pallmetto, Multivitamin, Vits. C, B-12, 81mcg aspirin.  I've been reading about people online with a similar problem - people also taking Plavix, Vytorin, and something similar to Clariton.  Is this cause and effect??  I'm also carefully eating a proper diet and exercising - stretching, weights, bicycling.  I'm doing everything right to lose weight and instead keep gaining it.  Has this problem been reported before?

Ask your cardiologist if you can take Lasix?  It's a duretic which will keep you from retaining fluids.  I am taking 160 mg per day because if I don't, I start getting the CHF (congestive heart failure) symptoms, SOB, swelling around ankles and upper torso.

Maybe the Lasix would help.
