Help!

I'm 20 years old. I have Bicuspid Aortic Valve or how it was explained to me the valve didn't fully attach and I suffer from frequent palpitations or what I call heart flutters. Every time I talk to the Dr. and tell her how much pain I'm in she just tells me to lay off the caffeine and I'll be fine. Deep down I don't feel like that's the case. I just really don't know what to do next. I just want to NOT be in pain anymore. I was also recently diagnosed with Celiac disease and depression and I just want to get back to living. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Your pain deserves better attention, and to blame caffeine is a stretch. It is the ability of caffeine to reduce pain as many pain relievers contain caffeine.

The aortic valve (one-way normal blood flow from the ventricle into the system) and normally has 3 leaflets that close over the valve opening to prevent back flow.  A little later in life it may cause a problem as often the condition is related to a syndrome that includes the aorta root enlargement due to the tissue abnormaility.

If there is an abnormal back flow of blood into ventrical rather than go into the system, the reduced cardiac output can cause chest pains, etc. But your post doesn't indicate any valve regurgitation so that may not be your problem?!
