Husband' s chest x-Ray came back abnormal

Husband had "widow maker" heart attack 6 yrs ago. Annual physical chest x-Ray showed "There is tortuosity thoracic aorta & increased prominence of the aortic arch region which could be due to vascular dilatation or possibility of mass cannot be excluded." Chest CT  recommended. Can anyone put this in layman' terms?

The aorta bends down from the upper side of the heart towards the abdomen. This bend is called the aortic arch.

Soft tissues or not well visualized with X-ray unless contrast agent is used. The aortic arch is seen on the image more prominently than normal, which could mean that it has a bigger than normal diameter.
To be sure of this, additional imaging is needed.
