Tender lump near sheath insertion

On Monday I felt a tender lump close to the site where the sheath was inserted during angiogram a week previously. . It is now Thursday and I think it is a little less tender. Should I be concerned?

On your advice I called the doctor.  He reiterated what you said. . As long as it is feeling less tender not a worry. Thanks for the suggestion not to lift anything heavy. I will take your advice. Thanks again!

As long as it is less tender, that's a positive.  I'd certainly contact your doctor, however, and I' would be very careful about lifting anything above ten pounds.
