It is good to hear that your father is feeling better with the medicines.
With the proper medication, the progression of the disease can hopefully be stopped or at least slowed.
If he chooses to do no further treatment, he must keep in mind that with his blockages he has not much blood flow capacity "in reserve", even with medication, so under certain circumstances (stress, cold weather, physical stress) he might experience chest pains.
Also if the disease progresses, he might run in trouble again.
Be sure he carefully follows the instructions from his cardiologist if these things should occur.
Thanks for reply as per doctor he ask for Bypass but ask us to take some more opnion for other doctors aslo if we feel so . As my father feels better with the medicine which he advise & he has not paced any problem in last 1 week
What did his cardiologist advice as the best solution?
Medicines can give some relief but do not cure his blockages. Up to 80% blockages are normally not life-threatening but can give chest pains during physical activity when more blood needs to be transported through the coronary arteries. Medication can widen the arteries so more blood can flow through.
If your father feels fine with medicines only, he perhaps could leave it with that.
Otherwise he will probably need intervention to remove the blockages. Depending on the location of the blockages and the experience in the hospital, this can be done with by pass surgery or with the placement of stents.
