Post Heart Surgery Death

My dad had triple by pass surgery on January 23 after being 95% blocked. The doctors gave him wonderful remarks after the surgery (strong heart, only operated for 3 hours, was going to be a quadruple bypass) and told him that he could be back to work in three months. They released him from the hospital five days after the surgery and ordered him to be on oxygen for at least 30 days because one lung was damaged, functioning at 80%.  After struggling to breathe for a few days at home my mother and I found him dead early in the morning on Feb. 1. It seemed that blood had come out of his mouth and nose. We did not order an autopsy so we really are not sure of his cause of death. What do you think his cause of death was? What are the possibilities? A blood clot? A surgery mistake?

The above remark is not meant to be ugly.   Sometimes things just happen.  With faith, we know these events affect US more than the one passing.  I will keep your family in my prayers for strength.
