after effects of angioplasty

Hi,

My dad has undergone Angioplasty after having being detected that the artery was 100% blocked. He has the stent(medicated) placed in the artery. its been a week now that he has been operated but whenever he does something which involves even a small amount of energy involved (taking a bath, speaking for 30 mins etc), he starts sweating. Also the throat goes dry..overall he feels restless. Can u please let me know the reason for the same.
FYI my dad is diebetic and has High BP also.

Thanks in advance.......
Maurif

My husband is a heart bypass patient and also a diabetic.  It could be that your father is having diabetic related issues.

The symptoms you express do not represent side effects from the stent implant.  It is possible there is restenosis (closed ) or the side effects from medication.  Or a condition not associated with the stent site or medication.
