I know that I am getting fluid in my lungs because I increase my weight and I start getting respiratory problems... low blood Oxygen, difficulty to sleep just with 1 pillow ....
As I can see, you are not a cardiac patient and so I am not familiar with your medication, but as I read info on metheltrexate it seems that can produce respiratory problems and if so you should tell your doctor.
Good luck.

Thank You,
I have had several heart tests and I have not been diagnosed with a heart problem.
I do get some fluids in my lower legs if I do not exercise or stand alot. Elevation of legs helps some but walking fast in a deeper p, methtrexateool or on land seems get it out. I am not sure how to tell if fluid is in my chest?
The medications are prednosone, metheltrexate, Pulmacourt, Prilosec, Tramadol, asprin, folic acid and Devronol. Reading the papers from the drug store with each prescription has every drug causing almost everything in the way of side effects.
Thank you,
Breathing faster and and deeper does not increase the blood O2 level much at all while sitting or laying down.
The only thing that gets it up over 95 seems to be walking or other activity mostly while upright. It tops out at 97 during exercise but will go down once I get tired.

Funny you should mention this: I was flipping through the TV channels the other day and they were talking about the 'afternoon tiredness". The doctor on there was describing this as being perfectly normal and gave the name of this occurance, but I can't remember what he called it. He said that this is cyclic and that everyone has this cycle as part of the day. Around 2 o'clock, people start to hit a low in their cycle and become tired. Then their body begins to rally and they, in essence, get a second wind and can finish out the day. It seems to me that it may have been Dr. Oz who was saying this? He was saying to drink a small amount of an energy drink in the mid afternoon to help with this. I'm not a doctor and can't tell you to try this as everyone needs to be checking with their own doctor about these energy drinks etc. If you do not take in a deep enough breath, your O2 levels can easily drop that low and you may not have any issues at all. Sometimes my levels will go down that low as well and as soon as I take in a deeper breath, they come back into the normal range. A norm O2 level is between 95-100%, but that does not mean that those levels need to be there 100% of the time; if it is not, that is not necessarily indicative of a problem. My advice to you would be to throw the stupid monitor away UNLESS yopur doctor has requested that you have one, which is highly unlikely. Take care.
your haemoglobin levels are normal. Perhaps an increase of iron in your diet? dark green veggies.
Your afternoon tiredness might not necessarily be related to your oxygen level.
What your heart problem is and what medication are you taking can produce tiredness.
Be sure that you do not accumulate fluids in your body. This can make your lungs less efficient.
I advise check for anemia (iron metabolism values) and suplement with vitamins B and minerals.
Perhaps you could benefit of increasing air presure in your c-pap. 93% is low while using it.

My haemoglobin is 14.5 about a week ago.
Those finger sensors are really only a guide and are not the most accurate thing on the planet. They measure the saturation of oxygen in the haemoglobin, but not the amount of haemoglobin you have. You can have a reading of 99 and still require life support.
