What's going on with this?

I'm not sure if this is the right forum but here goes.

I've been having tightness in my chest (would say it feels consistently uncomfortable, occasionally painful)  and shortness of breath (especially when exercising) for almost 4 months now, and since last month I've been able to see my pulse in the middle of my torso through the skin (just below pecs, just above abdomen pretty much center), it is especially crazy looking whenever I exercise.

Why can I see my heartbeat/pulse all of a sudden? What are some possible causes for this (why did this start seemingly out of nowhere)? How do I fix it?

Brief history: Until 4 months ago I was extremely active, running and going to the gym at least 4 times a week and all of a sudden I started having acid reflux and shortness of breath. I've had a chest x ray, an EKG and a stress test, all came back with normal results. I'm waiting on the results from ultrasound but doc said it looked pretty normal and doesn't expect much.

I've had an endoscopy preformed, it turns out I have something called Eosinophilic Esophagitus - something is irritating throat and possibly the rest of my body, beleives it could be an environmental or food allergy, however I don't know/think this will explain what's going on with my pulse being so visible all of a sudden. I'm on omeprazole for the reflux and have to see an allergist this week.

Also worth noting, it's not anxiety and I am not skinny enough for this to be considered normal, this is something new and I'm hoping something that can easily be fixed and is not a sign of some serious condition. Can anybody please help me figure out what's going on with why my heart/pulse is visible all of a sudden. and again this area consistently feels uncomfortable (pressure, awkwardness) and very occasionally actually painful.

Hi, if there is an increase in the volume of blood or pulse rate, the pulsations may be visible. There are entities called eosinophilic granuloma and eosinophilic pneumonia which can cause breathlessness and a feeling of tightness in the lungs. Lung function tests may help detect the effects on the lungs. Also, there is an entity called exercise induced Asthma, here as the person starts exercise, the changes in the environmental air breathed in trigger an attack of asthma, causing cough and breathlessness. Have yourself evaluated for the same. This can be detected by a spirometry test. Please discuss this with your doctor am sure he will provide further assistance. Regards.
