EF numbers

Would like to know which is more accurate, a catherization EF of 20-25 or an stress-echo EF of 35-44? I had bypass surgery 11 yrs ago after a MI.

The two EF numbers were taken about ten days apart with the cath being the second. The cath was taken under severe emotional stress. I went for a second opinion and he perfers to use the echo number because he said it's less subjective then the cath number. My cadioligst wants to use the cath number. They both want another echo done.

I've heard caths are more accurate. I've seen them try to catch the measurements on an echo and it isn't easy.
