Brushing after angioplasty

I had angioplasty 4 days ago. The groin site is bruised and. Down to my knee. This just got bigger today. I had numbness on the inside of my right knee. I called the doctor the next day and he said this will go away when I get up and move around. Day four and still have. Should i put  heat or cold on my knee or bruise.it is some painful.

It is just blood that leaked from the area where they went in. It is quite normal that it becomes more visible after a few days and as it puts pressure on surrounding tissue, it can be a little painful as well. Moving around will speed up the disposing of the blood.
