A single lifting of a heavy weight is not recommended for anyone that has heart tissue disease and high blood pressure.  It must often relates to an aorta valve, root and aorta vessel and when there is an aneursym.

DD usually refers the left ventricle not able to relax and fill with blood adequately, and as consequence the cardiac output per heartbeat is reduced. And it is a form of heart muscle disease in which the muscular walls of the ventricles (lower chambers of the heart) become abnormally thickened.

It can be due to genetic abnormality that produces a disorder in the growth of the heart muscle fibers.  It can be due to chronic high blood pressure, narrow opening (stenosis) aorta valve, and coronary artery disease (vessel occlusion).

Hope this provides an insight, and if you have any further questions or comments you are welcome to respond.  Take care,

Ken
