ps.
I should correct myself:
if the person wants to stay alive long. Also if wants to have a quality life. I don't think so anybody doing well on 15% EF young or old. I felt awful on 20%
Az kingzworld ponted out it is good to know what age group are you?..or the person you are asking that for..
I was 53 when diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy and heart failure. EF 20%. It went back to normal less than a year. For many people won’t go back, they need eventually a heart transplant. I in my age would never do that, but if younger should would think about it with 15%EF. It might be a long waiting, so if the healthy life style will not help improving, it is no other way with 15% EF if the person wants to stay alive.
My best!
EF ejection fraction rate is how much blood is pump out of the heart valve at each heart beat, I belive an average person and good helth is 60 to 80.. now there is a right and left EF too if im correct.
currenly mine is 30% and was 45$ 5 years ago, Im now 33. so 15% is low.. really low, Im worried at 30 and loosing two points yearly. why you ask did you doctor say you had and EF of 15%, what age group are you.
note, not a doctor. just relaying how I understand it.
