PVC's

I am now finding that I can deal with the couple of pvc's a day I get...(they still make me a little anxious though). The thing I freak out about is the occasional times - maybe once every 2-3months - that I will get about 40 of them with in a period of 4 hours......for the 2 -3 days following this they disipate. When I have these periods of pvc's they are random....they can be 2 minutes apart, 30 mins apart then go to 10 mins apart, basically all over the place. My question is why would I get such a bad run of them when at the time leading up to the episodes I have been fine? These ones take my breath away and I can really feel them in my throat. I had ecg once when I went to ER that caught them and they just said that they were eptopic PVC's and that they will not hurt me. I have had a stress test, halter and echo that all came up NAD.The only thing they found different was that my heart rests against my oesphagus. Any one dealt with my problem?

i have these as well.  my dad had them and was discharged from the Army because of it.  i got them so bad one day i went to the ER.  was told that i just have them and nothing to worry about after all the extensive testing.  i just learn to deal with them now.  my dad says he has them all the time everyday.  they throw me into a panic but he just "deals" with them.

these pvc's are just such an inconvenience. its so hard to believe that they are harmless, but with all my tests showing fine results. they have to be. i guess. i was sick of hearing im fine and spending copays out the wazuu. so i went to a acupuncture clinic for the first time a few days ago. i dont understand how acupuncture works, but he feels my pvc's come from an energy blockage that starts in my spleen. he gave me some needles (didn't hurt) and some herbs to drink 3 times a day. i actually felt better and didnt have any pvc's for 3 whole days. im goin back on monday to do it again. i hope it gets better each time. its worth a shot if your suffering with these, because there is no help for them in western medicine apparently. good luck, reading this forum eased my mind alot. thank you

My palpatations and Pvc's are always worse just before during and maybe a day after my period. I rarely have them or notice them any other time.  Has anyone ever had extensive hormone testing done to see if there is a link?

does that mean you don't have them except when you are ovulating or in your cycle?  I never have a day without them.

They seem cyclical for many of us.  Patterns can be fairly regular, or completely erratic.  Mine are hormonally driven.  No ovulation, no palpitation.  Unfortunately I can't stop one to stop the other.

Keep track of your cycles, your food intake and your levels of stress.  A little journaling gave me my answer within about three months of keeping track.  It's nice to know now.

Hi, have you tracked your caffeine intake on the days that you have excessive PVC's?  How about your blood pressure?  My pvc's which were very irregular like yours,  have significantly decreased since I have gone on a beta blocker.
