Hi, dear friends,I am 47 years Old male, I had a heart attack a year ago and there is one stent in a valve.Doctors asked me to walking everyday for 30 minutes and I m doing that. I want to know that if I run slowly while walking, will it be create a problem ? Many thanks for your reply
If you run slowly instead of walking, your heart will have to work a bit harder.
I do not know how much heart damage you got a year ago, but normally there is no real limit of what you are allowed to do after a heart attack. You just need to accept that your heart's capability will be (a lot or a little) lower than before.
It seems to me that it is safe to do some running, as long as you keep listen to your body and don't overdo it.
