Here is the results of a recent Echo:
2D Measurements:
LA Area: 20.0cm2
RA Area: 20.0cm2
LVLd A4C: 9.1cm
LVEDV MOD A4C: 158ml
LVLs A4C 7.3cm
LVESV MOD A4C: 73ml
LVEF MOD A4C: 54%
SV MOD A4C: 73ml
I am very very concerned about LVLd and LVLs. Don't these readings stand for left ventricular diameter during diastole and systole? If that is so, google tells me that values above 5.5cm are abnormal and above 8.9 is severely abnormal!
However the echo summary said I have a non dilated non hypertrophied LV. Did they make a mistake? Can someone let me know what LVLd and LVLs stand for?
Thanks
