worried about my symptoms

so i have "mild to moderate" aortic insufficiency, normal ejection fraction. yesterday days ago my lower-right abdominal muscle starting having these fairly frequent spasms. they go much much faster than my heart beats. they stay for maybe thirty seconds or a minute and go away. it's getting pretty annoying.

so being a hypochondriac i'm thinking it's one of two things
1. an abdominal aortic aneurysm
2. the fact that i was doing pull-ups for the first time in forever and it put a strain on my lower abs and now they are twitching (all my abs are sore)

i'm mostly wondering, like, if a twitching muscle is what is meant by "Pulsating sensation in the abdomen" in the dictionary dealy. or does that mean more like you can feel your pulse in your stomach area?

thanks for any information

oh, right - i'm twenty years old

Glad to hear it's just your muscle twitching. Muscles can give you a fit too since they get tired, hurt and rebel (think leg cramps - ouch!) Ease back into the workouts. Don't want to damage anything and then be laid up for weeks.

i had (well thought i had but the holter decided i didn't) pvc's so they were running tests and noticed i had some aortic insufficiency in the echo

so yeah i was just mentioning it because maybe it's useful

anyway i figure i'm pretty much being retarded here. my lower ab muscle twitched a little today, except it sort of hurt because the muscle is now sore as hell. i figure i'm being a hypochondriac and that it's just a muscle twitch

One more thought: why would someone your age know your own ejection fraction? What happened that the doc even had to check it?

From my own experience a muscle twitch tends to be erratic, not very evenly spaced. When my abdomen pulsates (I often notice this while lying down on my back) it's very even and in rhythm with my heart beat. I can even see my abdomen move up and down with it, very slightly of course. And my artery is just fine.
