In todays day and age they don't do Ablation with OHS - so greatful for that!
So you had the Cath procedure 5 weeks ago? A few days post-op you can develop Pericarditis and that can cause palpitations and even a bit of chest pain - even though it sounds bad it is highly treatable with aspirin!
But I would not expect you to have complications so long after your Ablation.
Can you check your bloodpressure at a Clinic or Pharmacy? But it would be better if you can go to your General Practitioner and they can do an ECG to make sure everything is fine.
Did you ACTUALLY have surgery where they opened up your heart and you were put onto a heart lung machine or were you taken to the cath lab and had an ablation done? there is a HUGE difference! You can still have issues with palpitations for a few months after your abaltion due to the fact that the heart muscle can become very irritable after having an ablation. This is normal, just give your heart some time to heal.
