Circumcised

Hi, I have Supraventricular Tachycardia and I'm wanting to get circumcised but I don't know if I could get circumcised because of my heart. Also I'm worrying about the Doctors botching the circumcision so can that happen or not thank you for your time and if you can help me that would be nice.

                                                                                                            Thank You,
                                                                                                                               Nick

I agree with GranRon.  Be sure to let your doctor know about the SVT and any medications you are taking.

I try to make a list of questions and take it with me to my appointment.  That way, I don't have to try and remember everything I want to ask about.

As GranRon said, there are risks with all medical/surgical procedures, but the important thing is whether the benefits outweigh the risks.  Your doctor will help you decide.  Take your time making the decision and be prepared with questions.

I don't think this would be a problem, but, prior to any type of surgery, you will be asked about any medical conditions that you may have.  There is always a risk with any surgical procedure, but, in the vast majority of cases, the benefits far outweigh the risks.
Have you consulted a doctor or surgeon about this?  If not, do so, and ask every question that you can think of that will help you make that decision.
