I agree with GranRon. Be sure to let your doctor know about the SVT and any medications you are taking.
I try to make a list of questions and take it with me to my appointment. That way, I don't have to try and remember everything I want to ask about.
As GranRon said, there are risks with all medical/surgical procedures, but the important thing is whether the benefits outweigh the risks. Your doctor will help you decide. Take your time making the decision and be prepared with questions.
I don't think this would be a problem, but, prior to any type of surgery, you will be asked about any medical conditions that you may have. There is always a risk with any surgical procedure, but, in the vast majority of cases, the benefits far outweigh the risks.
Have you consulted a doctor or surgeon about this? If not, do so, and ask every question that you can think of that will help you make that decision.
