I wasnt going to take it again regardless bc I almost died. I just worry now bc since then ive had all these symptoms and no1 can explain y. I now have a fear of meds or drinking alcohol as a result of the experience. Also forgot to mention that one test that was dont was a thyroid wich was hyper the first time it was taken then 1 month later it was still low but within an acceptable level and they couldnt explain y.
Given you had a "good" result from your EKG tests I think you should try to put concern about your heart aside the best you can. Find something to focus on that will ease the stress you worries may be causing. I am not an EKG expert, but I think it does measure the QT Interval you expressed a concern about.
I really know nothing about Invega, but given you took it only three times makes it unlikely that it could damage you heart or arteries. At your young age both should be in good shape and able to take a short exposure to most something that upsets your system. It is clearly good that you stopped taking with your doctor's knowledge, I hope.
The drug was named invega, yes I was, and no I dont take it anymore, I only took it 3 times, the 3rd the time that I had the reaction. I never had any health problems before the drug and the ekgs have shown my heart rythm to b normal but im afraid that it has damaged my arteries or nerves.
What is the name of the drug that seems to have hit you so hard? Why were you told to take that drug? I assume you are no longer taking that drug or even a substitute, correct?
Do you currently have any heart rhythm problems? It may be that other than the subject of the first two sentences that your post would get better inputs from one of the other MedHelp Communities. I'm not sure which, so I haven't made a specific suggestion. Take a look a the top of the page and click on "Forums" and see if anything listed there looks like it could help.
Still, I hope someone reading posts on this Community can give you some help.
