well i have never had a ultrasound of my heart, i have had a event monitor though
Hi,Echo is ultrasound of the heart, where the doctor can see the heart structure and its pumping abilities,ECG records the heart electricity and its vent rate.I think try not to think too much and i know its hard when it comes to the cardiac things but if ur cardiologist arent worried about it then its nothing much significant.
by echo you mean ecg and ekg? yea tons of those and all normal, funny too cause i just remembered that my heart doc said that having a pvc during my rides is norhing to worry over. I might not have been a pvc, i felt a thud in my left breast that could have been caused by me just going over a big bump
Well PVC\PAC are not normal, they are a form of arrhythmia. Although most of the time they are not harmful and considered benign. There is much debate about the significance of PVC;s during exercise and during the cool down phase. In the absence of heart disease and a structurally normal heart (no signs of cardiomyopathy or enlarged heart) it is believed to be safe to exercise. Most doctors will tell you if you get PVC's during exercise it results in a very small increase in the chances of developing a more serious arrhythmia like the tachy arrhythmia's. If you have had a normal Echo and EKG there is really no risk in exercising.
thanks for the help, question tho, i do have pvc's (im 27) and it used to be as many as 14,000 a day, now its more along the range of 10 ish with medication (cant count how many during sleep) Sometimes id feel a pvc during my biking rides (i bike on hard levels to lose more weight) iv heard this is normal, is it
Lack of sleep can raise your pulse and being stress from lack of sleep can make your pulse higher as well and so can anxiety. Try not to worry 90 is a prety good pulse.
Hi i read your post. Its great that you are aware of the importance of getting a full nite of sleep and it is super important in matters of the heart. The funny thing is which i personally have never been able to understand is that in all studies that have been done there is no such thing as making up for lost sleep from a couple of days ago. So to me that is why you are so tired. As far as your pulse rate goes 90 is definately not alarming here. A normal pulse rate for a non athlete is between 70 and 120 so you are fine there. I wouldn;t be concerned personally it sounds like you already know what the problem is and now you have to make sure that you do get a full 8 hours if at all possible. I am sure that others will weigh in on what works for them at nite....for myself i take a sort of vitamin or homeopathic pill that i get from Whole Foods but know alot of drugs stores carry it...its called Night Rest by Source Natural and it definately works for me...no grogginess in the morning...when i wake up i am super alert and it doesn;t effect my heart at all.....you aren't into a super deep sleep just a very restful one and there are vitamin benefits to it.....just my thoughts...have a great weekend and don't stress it.....
