No, there is no risk of cardiac arrest. Your heart is fine. Trust your doctor.
Everyone (especially young men) may experience a short pause in the heart rhythm when exhaling. It's caused by a decreased pressure in the chest when the lungs are deflating. The technical word is sinus arrhythmia. It's normal and actually a good thing.
thank you...
and one more thing...
when i lay down for a long time and suddenly standup...i feel dizzy and my heart pumps faster than normal...and its just for few seconds and then every thing comes to normal....
is this normal.....then what is it??
Also completely normal. The blood pressure drops a bit when standing up, and to compensate, the heart rate speeds up for a short while, until the blood vessels contract to maintain the blood pressure. It happens in everyone :-)
The cause of lowered blood pressure when standing up is simply gravity.
okay thank you very much.....
a last question....
are ecg and acho test enough to tell underlying heart condition for a 19 year old basketball player??
Thank you very much...
I should probably feel free to play and enjoy without worrying....
Yes you should. Of course it's not easy to stop worrying about the heart, after all it is a vital organ which we don't want to fail or stop. But being aware of the heart rhythm doesn't help. It will only make it worse.
Thanks a lot....
I felt like someone knows what I am going through....
Can you please give me some tips to take my mind out of it....??
And thanks once again...
I also feel multiple times a day that my heart missed beat or stopped for a second or two...and i lost my breadth... And then normal hearth rythm continues......
It freaks me out...what causes it??
