any advice please

hi all my cardiologist doctor has said i have PAF syncopal episodes and artrial tachycardia could anyone tell me what this means please im waiting for ablation im really scared i dont know what to expect will be gratefull for any advice about PAF syncopal episodes thanks all.

hi lisa thank you so much for the advice i have been so worried i cant imagine how you must be feeling having them so many years i will have a look on the site you have told me about i have just been in hospital for a few days due to the abnormal heart beat and my heart racing they put me on beta blocker and some anti arithmics sorry dont know how to spell it i hope your well thank you again pengi07.

I believe PAF is pure autonomic failure - i.e. autonomic dysfunction which is under the Dysautonomia umbrella and more to do with the autonomic nervous system.  Did you get DX through a TTT tilt table test?

There's some of us who have arrhythmia's and syncopal issues together; I've suffered since age 9 and took until I was 42 for a dr to dx me.  If the links don't work, feel free to pm me and I'll send them to you =)
