Hello, is stopping propanolol (1/2 day )after 6 days is bad?d

They give it to me to lower my hypertension, anxiety, but as I read that it's not good for people with heart disease antecedent, I don't want it. I'm at the hospital, but the doctor is verry occupied to answer my question. So I don't know what to do.
Thanks.

You should discuss with your doctor before making any changes to your medications. The doctor should stop by at least once per day. At that time, you can evaluate benefits, risks, and alternatives.
