after bypass it could be any number of things. One of the more common is atrial fib. My husband had quadruple bypass last year and he went into afib the 2nd day after surgery. He converted to NSR after about 24 hours and was fine thereafter. It is very scary, I know.
my husband just had a triple bypass, they came rushing in and his heart rate was 190 they got it down to 170 ,can someone tell me whats going on
Hang in there.....it is to soon to make any assumptions but there are a lot of us out here that have had similar symtoms that are just fine. My heart rate has gotten well over 200 for a long frame of time and my problem is something I just have to manage. It is NOT life threatning. Try to read some of these blogs ....they may give you some comfort. Ours thoughts will be with you and a prayer will be said......Hang in there
