Holter Monitoring

Hello,

I would like to ask you about Holter results that i have. What i am interested in is how high could VES result go to be considered as normal? Last time my result was normal and it was VES: 2, but now i have VES: 145. Is it something that require an intervention or could be under control simply by medicaments?

Thank you!

VES stands for ventricular ectopics? Then that's the same as PVC's and 145 PVC's in 24 hours isn't all that much. But more information would be helpful.

Are you sure its VES and not SVES?  You really haven't told us much and we are flying in the dark here i think.  Why did they put you on the holter in the first place?  What was your heart rate?  What was your blood pressure?  What incidents let you to the holter?  We are looking at a single piece to a big puzzle and i don't think anyone can accurately give you info other than what the normal range is with VES or SVES without all of the info.  Try to give us a little more info so we can be informed thus tell you our thoughts......and most importantly i am wondering why you are asking the forum if you need intervention....that should have been the conversation you had with your heart doc when they told you what the results of the 24 hour run were.  What did they say to you?  What symtoms did you have before the test and now after the test...what kind of meds did the doc put you on?  Help us to help you my friend........................
