If you think you could fork over the bucks for an appointment, then DO it! Explain your financial difficulties very clearly to your doc at that time, There is a bit of flexibility for the poor in the system, though it is not well known. But you must tell your doctor about it to benefit.
I am unemployed and without insurance. I couldn't even afford Obamacare. I am a full time student exclusively living off of loans. I'm trying to get a job, but its not going so well.
I really want to wear a Holter monitor but those things can be extremely expensive. I could probably fork the money over for an appointment with a doc, but beyond that....
It ***** and I'm scared. My anxiety doesn't make it any better.
Seriously, investigate Obamacare. I was earning next to nothing with a small part-time job, but I called, and they accepted me. At least call--the worst they can say is no.
I think you are going to have to find a way to afford a doctor.
Your symptoms do indicate that you might have some kind of rhythm problem, but without a pretty solid formal education in medicine, you aren't going to get anywhere with online research, because you will not be able to understand the biology of the heart. Just for an example, PVCs do not in any way have anything to do with pressure relief.
You need to be sitting in front of a living, breathing doc who knows your history, your heart's anatomy, and has a bunch of test results in front of him/her.
As to the cost of affording a doctor, my son says he cannot. He is a bike mechanic and pulls down a pretty small salary, but the truth is that he actually could afford ObamaCare if he chose to budget strictly, but he is not willing to brown-bag it instead of having lunches with friends or make other small daily savings.
Your situation might be more severe, but still, you might want to take a hard look at your expenses and make up a formal budget, because none of us is going to need LESS medical care as we get older.
