Contradicting Studies Found on Ectopic Beats

So I recently went to see another ep for more insights on my frequent pacs/pjcs/pvcs and occasional lightheadedness. I was surprised by what he had told, which wasnt the prognosis of having these are benign. He stated some recensy studies published do show a not so great prognosis for individuals considered to have these with no apparent heart disease. This dropped a ball in my stomach. So i researched and found these studies and wondered if i were behind the game on the explanations of what these studies show or prove. I dont think i can link here so ill just paste the study titles and youll be able to copy and search them if you are interested in reading them. Would be nice if a MD were able to chime in if they are able to.

'Relation of atrial and/or ventricular premature complexes on a two-minute rhythm strip to the risk of sudden cardiac death'

'Prognostic Significance of PVCS and Resting Heart Rate” done by Stanford University Medical Center'

'Premature Ventricular Complexes and the Risk of Incident Stroke: The Atherosclerosis Risk In Communities (ARIC) Study'

These are great articles and infomration.  It confirms my posture towards all these issues, so I'm not surprised by it per se.

It's a very very complex issue.  So many different factors, varying from person to person.  It's up to us and us alone to navigate this mine filed.  Our doctors are coaches in all this, it's up to us to mitigate as many risk factors as possible to achieve that one thing we're all looking for, a healthy, happy, long life.

Hey. Im sorry. My intent wasn't to scare anybody. Maybe I should have put a label on it. I just wanted to see if anyone else that visited this forum if they had seen these and had been informed differently. Ive searched on them and really havent found a professional response to the above studies but like Elli showed, most all drs and resources point to these being benign with no other underlying heart problems. Sorry again
