I hope you feel better. I know it can get very frustrating in which is why most of us are here trying to learn. I would love to bring up something to my doctor that was right on so I can have her check it, and laughing saying crazily then....SEE I'm not Crazy. LOL I'm hoping my chest pains are nothing yet, when you get them they can scare you sometimes especially when they start hitting 'hard all day" out of no where. This has only happened twice with me. I usually don't mind the little ones. Lately I've been feeling like a hypochondriac though. LOL
Please be leery of drinking ice cold water in the summer though. I used to do that when cutting grass or working the garden and found it can make matters worse sometimes. As for an ER....I've never went to one for myself, though probably should have....knock on wood. ha ha I'm hoping I never have to. I have been there for many others though. Take care.
Brooke Hi. Sort of a books worth here. No they never did a cath. As for hospital test: They done a carotid doppler. O and venous/arterial doppler back in 2006 and they were fine and showed no arterial occlusive disease. They also done a Stress and Echo then that showed a interatrial septal aneurysm w/o shunting and a EF of 72% YA. The Echocardiogram done in May of 2008 showed an EF of 53% :-(. A pulmonary function test in 2006 (in which I practiced for..hee hee hee) but still showed COPD :(. As for my EKG's they all look sort of bad. I have my last one done in my pictures on here. The other test were not heart related.
I think she feels as if she tested just about everything in 2006 and has ruled heart issues as stress or anxiety. The odd thing is these things only seem to happen when I'm relaxed or just (well not stressed. ) LOL Also usually when they happen it is when my HR is low instead of high. I would thing stress would make it climb. There is were the Mrs. fresh eyes would come into play. Shopping around for an Internal medicine doctor to cover thyroid, heart and all issues. Just to chicken to bring it up to mine. I don't want to hurt her feeling still.
Chevy man Hi. I hope and pray you find out what is wrong. I can really feel your frustration. Please take care and best of wishes to you.
I've had the same problem, with the doctors telling me that my chest pain and shortness of breath is harmless. I would like for them to experience this "harmless" chest pain. I think it is related to my tachycardia but, I just give up on the whole idea that doctors know better. I'm sorry you suffer, but there are some homeopathic ways to help with the pain, I find that if I'm having severe immobilizing pain, ice cold water usually stops the most severe pain. The pain used to scare the **** out of me, but I live with it, and I don't plan on spending anymore time in the E.R.. I hope this helps a little, good luck with your docs. Sorry to sound like I have givin up on the docs, but I have.
thanks for the concern but no i have not found 1 single answer for whats going on. and it is scary it kinda like the doctors wanna wait till you have a major episode then they can go oh thats what it is
Did you get the new Dr yet (Mr or Mrs Fresh eyes)? I am sorry that you are still dealing with this "blooming" business! Did they ever do a cardiac cath on you?
General rule for chest pain and when to get help...anytime you're having chest pain and especially shortness of breath occuring simultaniously, and it in anyway is scary to you, call 911. You'd rather get to the ER and be told your fine than to sit around waiting for something to "bloom" wouldn't you? I know I would:)
Hi chevy man. I hope all is well with you. I had a stress test and an echo done back in May of last year. Nothing much really showed up.
I go to the Doctors again around the 3rd week of this month for routine blood work. I'm hoping I get to talk to her about all of this. The last time anything similar to this happened was in around January of 2008.
The palps I get daily and the fluttering every so often. Normally I don't stress over them but the sweating, and lightheadedness with the pains hitting soo hard, well it sort of scared me. Tonight I just feel tired and bruised.
My doctor just keeps saying "whatever is causing this, just has to bloom". Yesterday I felt like I was wilting before I had the chance to bloom. LOL Anyhow; Thank you so very much for your concerns.
I hope things are looking up for you my friend and that you have found some answers to your questions earlier in the year. Take care.
umm are you under a doctors care for any of this?
