Diastolic Pressure High and Fast Heart Rate

Hi! I am 35 years old male and recently my diastolic pressure is high 90 mmHg and my heart rate is high 88 times per minute. But my systolic pressure is normal.  In the morning, my diastolic pressure is 84 mmHg and heart rate is around 81 times per minute but as day progresses, my heart rate and diastolic pressure go up.  I never had this kind of problem.  I feel tired and need more sleep.  Fall 2009, I was sick from cold but I recovered then I had this kind of problem.  Before,I was very energetic.  I haven't seen doctor yet but I would like to get some suggestion.

sounds pretty normal to me.  If you're concerned make an appointment with your GP for a physical.  always a good idea to get one of those once per year.

Well actually your blood pressure really isn't super high and your pulse falls well within normal limits.  Anything can raise your blood pressure from stress, too much caffeine, chocolate, anxiety, just about anything.  The thing is if you haven't been feeling well since your cold you need to have a complete check up done by the doc and maybe they can do a complete blood count on you to make sure that you aren't a little anemic if you are tired.  It may just be that the doc will tell you to take vitamin supplements until you power thru this.  It is almost impossible to guess what is going on w. you since this has been going on since last year and you need a diagnosis to take care of it...i would call the family doc and get your annual check up if it were me....good luck
