Bradycardia

I'm 81 years old in good health. Only meds I take are for prostate (2). My heart rate has always been low. I was a runner for almost 40 years. Resting heart rate is in low 40s. PCP sending me to cardiologist. I've been down this road before (different PCP) about 12 years ago and was told not to worry. I don't have any symptoms normally associated with this problem.
