Thyroid Peroxidase Ab
What does it mean when my blood test show Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) Ab? Results 65 T4 8.1 T3 91 Antinuclear Antibodies, IFA neg. My dr is treating me with Iodine and Cytomel T3 is this the correct treatment?
Yes...I also have both. Low positives of TPO are common in Lupus while the higher numbers tend to be in the Hoshimotos and such... or so I've been told :) Good luck!

not sure if you're in the right forum...I think TPO is thyroid and ANA is for Lupus or SLE related conditions, so you may want to try the thyroid forum or one of the auto immune forums for more info (unless someone here in the heart rhythm section knows specifically)
