age 62, female, my BP consistently on the low side: 60 or 70 /90 or 110.
now my heart rate seems to have increased to 80-85 at rest and up tp 105+ after even mild excercise.
i have been physically active till three years ago going regularly long brisk walks, mountain hikes and occassionally some yoga pranayam too.
for the last three years, my physical excerise reduced and i have been under extreme emotional stress having to look after my mother who suffers from dementia.
i noticed my high pulse rate when i playfully used the wrist BP monitor i use for cheking my mother's BP on myself. i had come back form a short brisk walk [in the sun] after running an errand. one hour after the walk the heart rate was 105. i began monitoring it regularly and found it constantly in the 83 to 87 even at rest.
around this time, i was also exposed the insecticide prallethrin 1.6% w/w from an electrical evapatrator which we used for a while to keep away mosquitoes. as i have a chronically slugglish liver [after about of water borne jaundice] i got rid off the electical mosquito repellent and find my heart rate stabilising at 78 -83 at rest but even a short excercise sends it racing again.
my CBC is normal
blood sugar normal
cholesterol normal
SCOT slightly elevated and liver maginally enlarged
weight normal by acturial charts by a little high by personal past record. BMI 21.6
am i HEADING for trouble?
