Wonder

I am wearing a event monitor and i keeps beeping for no reason why? And if i take it off then it really beeps like every five minutes? ((What is going on is i all of the sudden i was having high blood pressure like on my birthday it was 162 over 110 and my heart rate was 140 i was dizzy my chest hurt. all of this came very suddenly not over time. I am now taking medication for it but still often feel lightheaded and chest pain or i get this feeling like someone scared me really bad, but no one did anything i'm just sitting there and it last for an hour sometimes.)) Do you have any idea why the monitor keeps beeping and what might be going on with me? BY THE WAY I AM ONLY 22 YEARS OLD and i do smoke cigarettes

That's good to know. Did you get a new monitor then and have to start over?

I would call the center where you got the monitor. It may have something to do with the batteries. That happened to me once, wore the monitor only to find out the batteries weren't working right and I had to go through it all again. Normally monitors don't beep or make any noise unless it's recording an event. It sounds from your note that it's just beeping constantly.
