I did think it maybe due to last time but I had the issue in the left groin and this is now in the right. But it could still be due to the firat attempt and scarring. I was going to call my dr for a sick certificate for work so will mention my groin and see what she says. Thanks for the advice. Even with all the problem the first time round it didn't hurt like this time. Can never ne simple can it.
I believe your situation may be unique in that your veins maybe weren't where they normally are because they messed up the first time around so maybe that is the issue? I remember it being tender but I was able to move around and drive no problem once I took the gauze off. I would call the doctor's office and let them know what you are feeling and see what they have to say just to be safe. I believe some do develop hematomas that will go away with time but personally I would call just for my own peace of mind.
Thanks for reassurance. I'm hoping that once the bruising settles down the pain will start to go. Just have to wait I guess.
Hi Demps, Im not surprised youre still so sore. The doctor sometimes has to do alot of probing to find the artery he needs to use. Just watch your right groin for any signs of infection like increased redness, swelling, drainage, increased pain, fevers or chills.
I have many people tell me the same thing about post procedure soreness so dont worry, you should be fine.
