I also suffer from PAC/PVCs and have for many years. I also am into biking and sometimes when on long rides I start to have them in the middle of it and it freaks me out. Here is what I found out so far. I was put on an event monitor last Month and it was on for 22 days. At the same time, I was put on 100mg Zoloft, 2.5 mg bystolic and Xanax to calm me down. Well, My condition went from maybe 15 a day to 14,400 and it was all recorded on the monitor. The doctor called me and said that I'm having lots of PAC/PVC's and its nothing to worry about. Easy for him to say when i'm thinking I'm about to die. Anyway, My family doctor called me and reduced the Zoloft to 25 mg and the Bystolic was cut in Half. Within 5 days, I'm only getting 1 or 2 PVC/PAC's so I know for sure that drugs will affect it. I was also on lisinipril that produced the same results. I really think you will have to go through the pain of trying different meds until you find what works best for you. The doctors will try to tell you stress causes it and I buy that to a point. I mean stress will induce them and you will have a few daily. But nothing like 14,500. Its related to the meds. Try working with your doctory.

We can all aspire to be as healthy as you some day! To me, I think I would ask to wear a holter monitor for 1 week and see if you can bring the PVC's on. When the Dr can analyze them, you will then know the answer to your question. I think that would be the safest thing to do. My guess is that you are not at any catastrophic risk but if you have not worn a holter monitor I would go that step. Good luck and let us know the results -- I bet you will get a postive response that puts your mind at ease.
