Introducing myself PVC's and PAC's

Hey, I have been searching these forums for years and thought I would introduce myself and look for some support.  I have had 2 ablations: one for AVNRT and the other for ventricular bigeminy.  My last ablation was May 2006.  My last holter recorded PVC's, PAC's and an atrial triplet.  My skipped beats have picked up the last 2 weeks, so I am looking for some support.  I cannot complain, when I was in bigeminy I had ten's of thousands of them a day, now I have 2 or more and I am thrown for a loop.  It is amazing how they still bother me.  I thought I got good at it.  :-)

This morning I had a run of something.  Probably 4 or 5 beats.  It was light and fluttery, so I think it was more atrial.  Usually the ventricular stuff really takes my breath away.

Does anyone else out there with PVC's or PAC's get any type of runs?

Thanks

Michelle

Hi Michelle,

Thanks for sharing your story.  You'll find lots of good information and plenty of support here.

I had 2 ablations for pvcs; I was in bigeminy a lot and the ablations worked great.  But, since then I definitely notice an occasional pvc -- It really catches my attention.  The runs still occur now and again, several this week in fact.  Those are still weird.  As far as I know, my runs are ventricular; I have had very, very few pac's in my life (at least by monitor).

Happy Thanksgiving to all -- Watch out for those big meals (for me, they're a ticket to a pvc storm).

Yep.  I get 'em. Had a few just last night while watching T.V. actually.  And I remember thinking to myself...."stop it.  You are fine.  You keep telling everyone on the forum how to deal with these things...now put up or shut up."  :-)  And then they passed.  They still give you pause though.  And they make me mad...because they make me pay attention to something I shouldn't be thinking about at this point in my life.

C'est la vie. You think you've got 'em figured out, and that you are "used to them" when they through you another curve ball.

Hope you are able to have a happy Thanksgiving!!!
