Bon soir kiki,
not imperative, but desirable, it depends on how you are feeling, if you are tired and with pain, then it is better to rest, resting will put your body and mind at easy and that is important.
Do get up, eat, watch the beautiful Haitian Skies, feel the afternoon breeze, specialy today with this eastern winds and enjoy it, it will be good for you if you are not so tired, however
No activities like jumping, running around, lifting stuff, let others cook, bring you things and just enjoy it.
bye bye

thanks alot for the advice and I hope you get better too with your malaria. Do you think it is imperative to stay in bed at all times like they say here in Haiti?

Well put, your presence in this forum will be very welcomed. Mostly HepC posters here and to have someone with (I would say a good bit of knowledge) hepA and hepB advice. You can keep logging on to get answers to your hepC and help the other heppers as well:) Posted on you thread just a few minutes ago.

Hi Kiki
I am in HAITI as well, there is a lot of HEP A and B in HAITI due to the environmental conditions, unfortunately my case is HEP C and Chronic WITH a stupid just acquired MALARIA that really made things worse for the past couple of weeks.
I am here with the UN, I am originally from Brazil but I work for the US, where I am a resident.
We deal with lots of case of HEP a and B, my personal answer to your questions is, EAT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, since you do have appetite, however, YES avoid fat food, alcohol and junk, take lots of fruit and liquid as well.
Take care and feel better soon.
Au revoir
